Demande en Mariage ( The proposal)

When i was young, i keep on thinking of if one day my Mr.Right popped the question, how the scenario would be, what will be my reaction, and what will be my answer.

Will it be as sweet as fairytales, will i nod my head straight away and say "yes , yes , yes! ", will it be a loud one, will it be a surprise or it will never happen.

After 25 years ago, finally the day was here.

It is not loud, it is not that sweet as fairytales ( opps), it is not nodding my head away with "Yes , yes, yes !" . But luckily out of all my prediction, the surprise part came true.

= the ring =

It was the night of Valentine, where i was so sound asleep in my piggies land...and i heard something like some songs as background, but i couldn't be bothered as The Boy has always love listening to music while surfing. Then i felt somebody touching my finger and trying to put something on, and i was little irritated and nearly hit The Boy right on his face. =p

When i regain little "conscious" from The Boy's calling, i opened my tiny eyes and saw the yellowish romantic light, heard the song of "The Wedding" playing @ the background and also a ring on my finger with The Boy beside me.

= A girl's best friend ! =p =

All these made my eyes widely open and looking at The Boy with ?? . He kneel down beside the bed and asked me the "most important"question. I was stunned and i don't even know how to react and i replied let me think first! hahahah =p

The greatest disappointment expression can be found on his face, and he asked why. I said i dunno, i m not ready....Thus, he kept the ring and walk away from the bed quietly and sadly.

It was a sleepless night for me, for us. Actually the answer is in my heart, on my mind, just i was little hard to react. To me it is a decision for a lifetime. So the next day, when i finally recovered from my post-surprise shock , i rushed down to town just to get something for him as an answer and meet up with The Boy @ Starbucks!

It was then i gave him the pressie and told him the answer was all in the box. Seeing him carefully opening his present, with much awaiting on his face, he saw it, it is a ring with a card i wrote :

" Grow old together with me... The Best is Yet To Be.. "

He was so touched and nearly teared, as for me this crying baby was already with tears falling down my cheek. I felt i make a decision for myself , for weLaine, for a LifeTime.

= Eternal promises =

It was something that really touched my heart when he popped the question the night before, that he mentioned he actually decided this on the last day of our staying in Muar, so he went to visit my grandma, and told her about this proposal, hoping to get her blessing. This is something that makes me know how much he loves me, how much he care. How blessed i am!

Now, we are ready to walk through another stage of life.
